Kevin Farrell is Chair of the firm's Patent Practice Group. In this role he is involved strategically in the formulation of claims, development of applications, and client counseling. His practice also includes due diligence analysis in connection with financing, merger and acquisition activity, as well as the preparation of opinions relating to patents and patent applications.
Tom provides strategic IP counseling to some of the world's largest consumer products companies and service providers, with a focus on IP portfolio management, licensing and enforcement. He is the co-chair of Thompson Coburn's Intellectual Property Practice Group and a member of the Firm's Management Committee.
Dr. Jonathan O'Brien has more than 20 years of experience assisting domestic and multinational companies on global IP portfolio procurement and enforcement strategies. He offers a pragmatic business perspective and has successfully assisted clients with leveraging their IP portfolios by identifying improvements and solutions to minimize risks and maximize strengths while aligning the IP strategy with his clients’ business objectives.
